Wednesday Workshops

Join us as we capture New Jersey's beautiful Fall colors while learning the secrets of great photography.  Wednesday Workshops is a 4 week, small-group course designed to enhance and improve your picture-taking skills.  All levels are welcome and individual attention will be given to participants to help bring their work to the the next level, regardless of experience or equipment. Whether beginner, semi-pro or professional, this course is for those photographers who are serious about their craft.  Both the field exercises and the classroom sessions will help photographers learn to "see" photographically, to find the potential in just about any subject, and to work under challenging conditions.  It will also be fun, with several trips to local parks and preserves.  And at the conclusion of the course, a wine and cheese (and beer!) reception at the gallery during which participants' work will be on display and the public is invited to attend.  Weekly assignments will be given and participants will be invited to show their work each week for critical review.  Topics include finding locations and working with the landscape, exploring the behavior of natural light, and using composition to create works of art, not just pretty pictures.  All participants are encouraged to follow their own vision throughout the course.

Classes are given at Dwight Hiscano's Gallery in Morristown and on location in the field.

4 Wednesday classes + gallery exhibit and reception (date to be decided)
