A new look at an ancient subject
Trees From Above is a collection of black and white images of trees from an unlikely view- from directly overhead- made with a drone using snow as a white backdrop. These are the first of the approximately 100 images that I've made to date. The series has received several awards so far, an Honorable Mention in the Minimalist Photography Awards, to which more than 3700 images were submitted from 39 different countries, a Juror's Top Five award and an Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards, to which 14000 images were submitted from over 100 countries.
